The Ridge Landfill

Services Provided:

	BFI Canada owns and operates the Ridge Landfill, located near Chatham, Ontario.
	The site encompasses an area of approximately 262 hectares, 131 of which are permitted for landfilling.
	With an annual permitted capacity of 680,000 tonnes, the Ridge provides an important and ongoing solution for managing Ontario’s non-hazardous solid waste.
	The Ridge landfill has an estimated operating life of 17 years and accepts industrial, commercial and institutional (IC&I) non-hazardous solid waste from across Ontario as well as non-hazardous solid waste from nearby municipalities.
